Fly Away

          Fly Away

I have opened the cage
and set the bird free
they say if it comes back
then it was meant to be
but if it does not
swiftly return
I will not let my
heart still yearn
for I have wings too
and I shall soar
at least until my heart
does not hurt anymore
then I will return
to my own cage and wait
and forget all I knew
of love and fate
