Ok now i don't know what processor to go with either the i7 2600k sandy bridge thats 4 cores = 8 way multitasking or a intel 970 six core = 12 way multitasking and there both 32nm technology but the thing is i would have to purchase a new set of memory because  i was going to go with a Evga x58 sli motherboard and it will have triple channel

This will be a very nice build and very powerful build ,keep in mind a 6.0 sata drive needs a 6.0 header to support the speed ,or it will default to 3.0 speeds , so make sure your board support 6.0 speeds on the sata drive to take advantage of 6.0 sata speeds

Hey Cloud I didnt even think of this before, but I was reading reviews on newegg about processors and this guy bent his pins on his chip and used a mechanical pencil to straighten them out sounds like a viable method if you still have that 6 core.
