Ati's New 6800 Series

Ati has release there next generation video cards i just got the email from tigerdirect this morning on there new 6800 series wow the 6850 and 6870 are pretty cheap and there clocked at 900 mhz core clock 960 stream processors and memory clocks at 4200 mhz thats fast lol heres the link to tigers page

oo new egg has some more then tiger they have more stream processors damn they seem fast then the 5000 series video cards and look at the prices there cheaper to

there stream processors are little less them the 5000 series but there a little faster just by 50 mhz on some cards lol i rather buy two of these 6800 series but then maybe go with 1 5870 x2 4 gig video card or a 5970 but i dont wanna spend mor ethen a grand on a video card lol

Cool... Nice catch. I had no idea about the newer one being released. I'm not really surprised though because every time i buy a card its old technology in a month. Although i seen they were all 1GB that is expensive for 1GB. Mine is 2GB and was crazy high lol. My card was around $490.00.

these are slightly a little faster the the 5000 series and u can get two of these for the price of one 5870 and its faster just by 50 megs
