Sorry I've been away for so long everyone. I've done a lot I'm not proud of recently, and it all ended up with me going on Anti-depressants.

That and I've gotten absorbed into RPG's lately.

Though I was still happy with the relationship I WAS in. *cough*Ontime*cough*

Anyway, when my Anti-depressants start working the way the are supposed to, and become stable, I'll probably get on a lot more.

Alright, so I have an old 40GB model PS3 that is now mine since my Father is in prison, I wanted to send it to my GF as a B-day present but the optical drive doesn't work and Sony wants 150 bucks to fix it.

I asked around to find out from people if there was anyway I could make money, but no one wants me to do anything for them (at least not for money), I was wondering what you guys think I should do?

I've been to worried to open it up, but at the same time my warranty is up anyway.

The optical drive will accept the disc and then I will here a "click" and then nothing, no spinning no loading sign on the upper right, nothing. Just... silence.

I'd say the speed needs to be 10% slower.

Gotta say, I use the same case, and it is COLD. Especially with a DFI motherboard made for cooling. Why did you do JBOD config though? Why not just Raid 1 the raptors? Or spend money on a SSD? xP Raptors are expensive.

First place I went the second I looked at the schedule was an Nvidia booth. I spent a half hour just at that booth asking question and marveling at Just Cause 2 in max graphics and resolution on dual monitors in 3-D.

You should try and make a gun specifically for taking out vehicles. But make sure it has a charge time, or only one allowed shot. And maybe a bit easier to dodge than like a rocket.
