So sad  smash

Everytime the server gets started we all get ther royal kick. I notice this happens alot though when someone is hacking.

The Clan server will have to be a Rank server. If it is not a rank server there is no XP or module upgrades. I think the reason fro unranked server is for practice or clan against clan.

So it seems at the end of the SP campaign, Crysis 2 is merely a prelude to Crysis 3

Above is a pic of the end of the SP campaign. The SP campaign was played @ 1920 x 1080 on Extreme. Average frames 90-140 3D disabled; 80-120 frames enabled. I played half of the game in 3D. It took about 18 hours to finish the campaign.

System Specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 970 4.Ghz OC
Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 8GB 1600Mhz OC (BEMP Support)
MSI NF980-G65 Mobo
MSI N580GTX in SLI
WD VelociRaptor 10K RPM HDD
Samsung 46" 9000 LED HD/3DTV

Will replay campaign again, all of it in 3D, when DX11 rolls out.....whenever that maybe ?

QuoteHave you come across a Crysis 2 multiplayer match with a cheater or a hacker? Hear what Crytek has to say...

We know that some people have been playing with an unfair advantage in the Crysis 2 demo.  Rest assured that although the demo does not have these features installed, our team has been working for some time on various anti-cheat measures that have been introduced for the retail release of Crysis 2.  We would like to make sure everyone is aware of how important this issue is to us, and that we will continue to strive for a cheat-free community with Crysis 2.

I think we might need that so everyone can put votes in. I knida thought thats what it would have been concluded by

@Cloud, thanks for posting the fix for the G35 Headset...........

Crysis 2 Demo Login Workaround & Fix:

Step 1 - Use your existing Gamespy Username and Password, and try to create a new account with the already exiting information for GameSpy in the demo (To confirm your Username ie "Unique Name" goto www.gamespy.com and login into your account)

Step 2 - You should get a message that says that one or two of the info being used already exist

Step 3 - Go back to the main login screen on the demo and then try to login with the existing Username and Password.

Step 4b - If you do not have a GameSpy acccount, then goto www.gamespy.com and regiser for a new account. Make a Unique Name. This Unique name will be your Username and game play ID for the demo. Repeat Steps 1-3

If you are using Winows 7 or Vista and you get a connection issue message when launching the game, make sure to "Allow" the program in your Windows Firewall settings.

See you soon  Shoot

QuoteCrysis 2 Demo Login Workaround & Fix   03/03/11

If you are not able to login to the Crysis 2 Demo use your already existing GameSpy username and password that you use or used to login into old Crysis/Crysis Wars MP which is hosted by GameSpy.

If you would like to create a Gamespy account to login to the Crysis 2 Demo, then goto GameSpy website and register. Make sure to create a Unique Name that you will use for the demo login and the official release. This Unique Name and password you will use to login into the Demo.

Enjoy !

As I said before it was going to be different. I love the overhaul that was done though. There was some disappointment from the sounds of it from others. I will say this, you need to give it time for adjusment. Jumping into the MP before playing the SP can be intimidating.

You need to grow into the new Nano Suit. I was all screwed up on the hot keys not being able to do my combo rotations anymore. Now I have to create and explore new combos.

The game now demands for you to use the Nano Suit as it should be used. It doesnt matter if its like COD or BO or whatever. These FPS games do not use a suit. You have a suit and weapons that must be used in junction with each other or else your going to be owned all day.

I love the graphics in the game, very clear, and realistic. I was averaging 50-80 Frames on Hardcore settings. Not once I expereinced a bug, or glitch, once we found out we had to sign in with our GameSpy id from old Crysis. The game operated flawlessly, it is refined for a demo

It was sad to see people in the clan exit from trying to get into the game. Ok haha we didnt know to try our GameSpy id. Now we know, and I hope to see everyone there again.

The game is much more challenging than the former Crysis. The two key features to get you buy in the game is cloak detection and armor mode. Learn how to use it.

*Cloak Detection - To be used randomly as you progress toward the enemy, it helps to detect enemies sneaking up on you, cause you will not be able to see them. Pay attention to shadows on the ground that may look irregular.

*Armor Mode - Set it as a hot key somewhere that you can easily react when you start getting hit, or need to take shelter.
from being hit behing not being able to see the attacker.

Crysis 2 General Discussion / Re: Crysis 2 Demo MP for PC
February 09, 2011, 05:11:14 PM
For those of you wondering or guesssing if certain trailers or pictures were from the PC version ? This is what Cevat Yerli had to say:

QuoteThere was a bit of confusion over the source of the latest screenshots released. Which platform did they came from? PC?I think they were a mix. There was one 360 and the others were PC. But honestly, the PC version hasn't been shown off yet at all. They were rendered out of PC but at console settings. The PC settings aren't being disclosed at all right now. We haven't made any screenshots yet that show the PC settings.

The statement below I value as gold which was said prior to the statement above:

QuoteSome people just didn't get the combat in Crysis. It was almost too 'sandboxy', and let them get away with the bare minimum. It's a fair point. In Crysis we didn't force the player too much, we had them choose. But that devalued the Nanosuit itself, and sometimes people used it sporadically here and there but didn't really push it. They didn't feel they needed it to win. So what we did is made sure the AI is smarter in Crysis 2, and you have to be damn powerful to fight them.

Crysis 2 General Discussion / Crysis 2 in 3D
February 08, 2011, 12:33:29 PM
Last night I decided to test my 3D TV and setup. So I launched the Avatar game. Went into the display settings and enable Stereoscopic for 3D viewing. Man, I was begining to think the whole 3D fanaticism was going to waste. I was not pleased at all with 3D in COD and BF2.

3D in COD and BF2 was ok but no like WOW  Whoo  of what you expected 3D to be in a game. SO I launched Avatar and almost struck with worse diappointment as I couldnt get the darn 3D to work properly.  smash

I am going through settings on the 3DTV, reading manuals like a fruit loop. Couldnt find Nada... So I went back into the display setting of Avatar after 2 hours and there was more 3D settings, Duh me.

As soon as I selected the correct settings and returned to the game, OMG I was nearly knocked out of my chair, litterally leaves where like slapping me in the face. I gave my wife the glasses and she about screamed.

There was no mouse delay or slugishness. It was accurate movement. Seeing things in the distance was like I could jump through the TV. I thought to myself man I hope Crysis 2 is like this. So I googled it and found out that James Cameron was introduced to Crysis 2 3D and he was impressed with it. Just Google Crysis 2 Avatar and you will find tons of articles directly quoting Cevat Yerli.

If Crysis 2 3D is like Avatar or better, which struck the attention of the reputable James Cameron, we are in for some insane graphics expereince and long nights.

I will be updating this post when we have more hands on with the PC demo when released and the final launch of the game....stay tuned.
