the fx-8120 8 core 3.10GHz (4.00GHz Max Turbo) is priced at 219.99
the fx-6100 6core 3.30GHz (3.90GHz Max Turbo) is priced at 189.99
the fx-4100 4 core 3.60ghz (max turbo unknown) priced at 129.99
Have you read any of the reviews and looked at the reactions on other forums? Unfortunately everyone is severly dissapointed due to horrid performance, and it's not really worth the upgrade or the $ unless you only want it to Overclock it to 4.8-5.0 Ghz on air. My quad core does as good and better at some games so upgrading from any Phenom whether x6 (hexacore) or an x4 (Quadcore) Is 100% unecessary unfortunately. :( Hopefully for the sake of the processor it just needs OS and Application Optimizations.
