The Garden of Life

Every once in a lifetime
I go out on a limb
and put my faith and trust
in someone I call friend

A lending hand to help me
a voice that does'nt ask why
a gentle shoulder to lean on
when I feel the need to cry

Someone I can talk to
when I think life's got me beat
to listen without objection
to stand tall without conceit

So the moral of this story
that I'm trying to get to
is if friends were flowers
I would definitely pick you !
